🌹🌹From the book
"How Can You Talk to God"
By Sri Sri Paramahamsa Yogananda 🌹🌹
I wish he would have filled all of us with a little more wisdom.
We have the freedom to reject God or to accept Him.
Here we go, begging,
for a little money,
a little happiness,
a little love.
All these things are meaningful only with healing kindness and truth for justice.
We must help good people in difficult situations.
Why should we beg Him for worldly things that will one day be taken away from us?
How long will we keep crying for money, diseases, hardships?
Instead we must cry and seek for healing body and mind.
We must eliminate diseases, hardships and give meaning to wealth.
Attain immortality and the kingdom of the supreme spirit soon.
We don't understand why we need immortality.
Immortality is getting blessings of intelligence and wisdom.
When we live forever in the form of intelligence and emotions of healing.
Because material body will be changed after death.
Our intelligence and emotions of healing will be transfered to another various living bodies.
At death intelligence will change the bodies. Intelligence has no death.
That is what you really want.

🌹🌹Spiritual Diary 🌹🌹
July 7 Freedom 0707
Freedom of action is not the real meaning of being able to do anything you want.
You must be aware of how free you are
And how much you are influenced by bad habits.
If being good is just a habit.
That is also not freedom.
The habit of being good is not freedom.
Understanding the wisdom of when to be good. And what is good.
It is not a sin to succumb to temptation.
But resisting and overcoming it is the greatest.
This is freedom.
Because you act out of free will and choice.

🌹CRITICISM🌹
Written Circa 1928-30
If thou dost hold the position
In which others look to thee for light,
for answer or battle for truth
With love in thy heart,
not for thine honour
or fear of a bad name,
But to uphold the glory and purity of truth.
Let thine actions and words
Be not for the sake of victory,
Nor for shaming others,
Nor to feed thy vanity,
But only for truth.
Love for truth, however,
Must always be tempered with the love
Or avoiding hurt to others.
Defamation of others in the name of spreading truth,
Or for the sake of one’s own benefit,
Is a sign of ego and inner weakness,
A desire to make oneself appear taller
By cutting of the heads of others.

Heavenly Father,
I will reason,
I will will,
I will act;
but guide Thou my reason,
will, and activity
to the right thing that I should do.
